Permalink: Act 152 of 2002 prohibits us from issuing or renewing driver license products for any person who is not a resident of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania (PA). Without a PA address, a driver’s product may not be processed…

My Pennsylvania driver’s license expired.  I can’t get it renewed because I’m no longer a resident.  This is inconvenient because it means I can’t rent cars when I’m traveling and can’t drive my friend’s cars when in the US.  Swedish licenses are very expensive.  I would have to take a written test— in Swedish, I think— and they have a special ice driving test, which I would probably have to take an expensive course to learn how to handle.  I don’t need to drive in Sweden, but it would be nice to be able to drive if I’m visiting California.  Any suggestions?
